
Community Giving
The Masons of California have a long history of giving back to the San Francisco community. The organization focuses on ways in which their work can benefit local non-profits. Below is a snapshot of some of these efforts in 2009.
$97,500 to San Francisco Unified School District
- Your San Francisco Public Schools (www.yoursfpublicschools.org) Campaign
- Direct Public School Support
$100,000 to San Francisco State University School of Nursing
- The Claire V. Cunningham Masonic Fund for Leadership in Nursing
$28,000 to the Giants Community Fund / Junior Giants
- Masons for Mitts (www.masons4mitts.org)
- Providing baseball gloves for underprivileged children
$4,000 Community Gifts:

- Nob Hill Association
Volunteer Hours
The staff of the Grand Lodge donated more than 300 hours of community service last year to San Francisco Public Schools, and the DPW’s Adopt a Street program for weekly cleanup.
