Freemasonry

Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest and largest fraternal organizations. It is a body of knowledge and a system of ethics based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself and thereby affect a positive transformation in his daily life, his family and his society.
Freemasons lead by example, give back to their communities, and support numerous Masonic philanthropies. They invest in children, culture, and our future.
To aid in both the Freemason’s and public’s awareness and education about Masonic traditions and culture, the Nob Hill Masonic Center is also home to the Henry Wilson Coil Library & Museum of Freemasonry, which is located on the second floor mezzanine.
The Nob Hill Masonic Center is just one of many ways that the California Freemasons contribute to their community. Being owned by the Fraternity, all revenue over the cost of maintaining the building goes to support the charitable activities of the organization.
